ACSR conductors are produced by twisting multiple aluminum and galvanized steel wires over each other with a steel wire in the center. Galvanized steel wires are intertwined in the center and consist of 1, 7, 19, or 37 wires. Outer Diameters of steel and aluminum wires are mostly the same, but Diameters may differ. The function of the steel core is to be a carrier for the conductive cable.
